The sun came out today.
The world of frost melted at my leathered fingertips,
Disappeared, the blanket of
lost
memory.
As those others freeze around me,
As I have always done,
I waken from my stony sleep,
Today, came out, the sun.
My appetite for appetite,
The softly sunburst clouds,
Come back in full illumination;
The sun, today, came out.
And so the frost and chill and cold
Are singed by passionate fiery rays,
And from the depths of my soul
A whisper of smiles comes:
The sun came out today.
